Business Development Associate

Good Judgment Inc is revolutionizing how governments and companies anticipate the future. We train clients to improve their forecasting and decision-making, and we are working to accelerate our scalable product lines featuring data from elite Superforecasters®.

We are looking for a Business Development Associate to support our sales team, including managing our Salesforce software, building and maintaining systems for reporting and metrics, sales lead prospecting, proposal production, and more. Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the Chief Executive Officer, ultimately the role will be measured by the company’s ability to efficiently manage a greater volume of new business development leads and close deals.

We’re looking for a candidate who is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where the bigger goals are understood but the path to achieving them may require creative thinking. This position will be 100% remote and will be primarily externally-facing, working with a range of our contacts and partners around the world.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with sales or business development, though exact title and compensation may be adjusted commensurate with experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce required
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail necessary
  • Experience in prospecting new sales contacts to generate leads & opportunities
  • Creative in finding key decision makers who are likely sales targets
  • Comfortable working towards metric goals on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Skilled in interpersonal and verbal communication, particularly in writing
  • Interest in market research, forecasting, or international affairs a plus
